Abstract

This study aims to improve learning sprint (sprint) through an approach play at class V students of SD Negeri 12 Padang District Kampung Durian East. This research is a class act. The subjects were fifth grade students of SD Negeri 12 Kampung Durian East Padang District totaling 23 people consisting of 12 students and 11 male students daughters. The data collection methods used in this research using observation sheets and questionnaires, conducted by researcher and collaborator. Data analysis techniques used in this research is descriptive based on qualitative analysis. The procedure of this study include planning, acting, observing and reflecting results show that this approach can improve learning play a sprint (sprint) for class V SD Negeri 12 Padang District Kampung Durian East. Based on the results of questionnaires, visible activity, attitude and sense of fun categorized as good, while the evaluation results in cycle 1 for 60.87% of the students were able to perform movements sprint (sprint) correctly, the second cycle increased to 78.26% of the students.
