PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIKA MENGGUNAKAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN AKTIF TIPE INSTANT ASSESSMENT PADA SISWA KELAS VI SD NEGERI 04 KAMPUNG OLO
Abstract
In the process of learning and teaching, teachers experience various problems in the classroom. This research is motivated because there are still students who are less active and do not pay attention to the materials provided by the teacher, students are often cheated when training and examinations and student discount is still a lack of confidence and fear of performing in front of the class. The use of active learning strategies Asssessment type Instant expected to improve understanding of the mathematical concept of sixth grade students and have a positive impact on learning outcomes for mathematics. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The subjects were students of class VI totaling 30 people. Data collection techniques gained by observation, field notes and tests. Observation and field notes made when the learning process and the tests performed at the end of the cycle. Based on observations showed increased activity of students in the learning process that impact on increasing understanding of mathematical concepts. This is shown in the results of learning mathematics in pre-cycle, the first cycle and the second cycle. Students' understanding of mathematics concepts in pre-cycle was 23.33%, increasing to 40% in the first cycle and to 80% in the second cycle. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of active learning strategies Assessment of type Instant can improve the understanding of mathematical concepts sixth grade students of SD Negeri 04 Kampung Olo.
